I originally built this workstation to consolidate my home lab into a single box. I was anticipating the need to have a very small footprint. The intention at the time was to use ESXi and GPU passthrough. For "reasons", that never came to be, and for the past 2yrs this rig has been booting tl;dr: Don't buy a Barracuda backup appliance. ~~They aren't quite as bad as Symantec Backup Exec, but they aren't much better, either.~~ (Edit: I changed my mind; Symantec Backup Exec 12 was never this bad.) Their firmware engineers introduce as many major bugs as they fix with each new firmware release, and QA seems nonexistent.
